other people (like me) call it kyubii , a jiant fox with 9 tails that existed in japanese folklore, it’s tails could create tordandos just by swinging them and when it stomped it could cause mountain shattering earthquakes, it could send fire balls from it’s fur t destroy whole villages easly.

o so i was wrong(on a previous post tha i cant seem to find), Kitsune(pronounced kee-tsu-nay) is just the japanese word for fox but i’m not wrong about the Kyubii thing , Kitsune spirit’s is measured by the number of tails and 9 being the higest, they gain 1 tail every 100 years so the 9 tailed one in this picture would mean it’s 900+ years and extremly powerful

Alex, the Kitsune legends span far before pokemon into ancient Japan also stemming from even older chinese legends, this Kyu-bi no Kitsune (Nine tailed fox) is a very nice picture, myself I am a white Arashi no Kitsune (Fox of the Storm) currently only with three tails, but still good power level! Has a nice day you people! 😉

Kyubii is a guardian spirit and it has been for centuries in Japanese folklore before Pokemons. Also it is a very rare spirit that helps to the lost souls. But for unknown reasons in Naruto anime series Nine Tailed is a freakin demon which destroys everything which is a controversial to the actual Kyubii.
